There is a devlog of my current project in the link above. It is full of GIFs and images - if you wouldn't mind looking through them and giving me some feedback that'd be much appreciated!

I really like'm. They suit the style very well I think. My only comment would be the somersault one - my brain really wants there to be more arm movement before the actual somersault, like for balance or whatever.

Thanks, Mr. Battle Cat!

That's easy enough to play around with so I will see if I can make the arms do something!

Wow I really like them! The suite the game's general feel.
Also this game looks like fun. Kinda reminds me of Jonny RPG in a way. One of my favorite Klik games back in 05.
Which I can no longer find for download on this site, but I found it here:

This game has gone through many iterations! I assure you Jonny RPG was a source of inspiration.

Haha, unfortunately probably not. We are trying to make it very funny for sure, but probably a little more cohesive in structure. Think Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie. It's still awhile off being completed yet unfortunately. I want to get the main engine and aesthetics perfect before actually starting development of the game itself. I will probably release an Engine alpha soon for people to test

I made the graphics in Flash. I then export the animations PNG sequences and import into fusion

I worked as a graphics designer / animator for a company that predominantly used flash so I got pretty good at using it. It's certainly useful having vector raw assets.
