Hello. i have an object that has a semi-transparent effect on it. for a day/night cycle.
and it works fine inside the mmf2. but when i export the application, and i run it. the transparent effect just doesn't show up anymore. somebody knows whats going on?
please.

What build type are you using? Do you have it set to use Direct-x?? (think thats the setting. don't have MMF 2 installed anymore to check.)

Just a thought... If you're exporting a Flash app, you'll need to use the compatibility transparency settings instead of the usual transparency settings you would use on a stand-alone app.

To sum up (and test), create an "Always" event and select an effect for an Active Object.

Effect -> Compatibility -> Set Semi-Transparency

Change it to anything between 0 and 255. This will affect the Active Object's transparency settings properly.

If you're not in Flash, then yeah you'll have to change other things.
