I have been trying for months to record a lag/jump-free video of my application. I have used various programs including Fraps, Action and Bandicam, but I constantly run into visual jerkiness in the final video. I have tried chopping up my graphics to smaller chunks to reduce load time, and have made sure all other applications on my computer are closed, but the problem persists. I am having difficulty coming up with another solution. What am I missing?

In fraps make sure you're recording at the framerate your application is running at.
Also make sure you're using DirectX8-9 modes.
Beyond that it could be the speed of your PC.

You can also try "Open Broadcaster Software", its free. even though its mainly used to stream stuff, it comes with built in recording.
