At https://kliktopia.org/Vitalize.html you can play games with scores hosted by Kliktopia.
Some of these games are just downloadable games, many from The Daily Click competitions.
Others are Vitalize! gamers, some of which were from the old V-Cade, and to get your scores you need to get Yxkalle's Vitalize! Launcher Tool and modify your HOSTS file as per the instructions at the bottom of the page.
When you get a hi-score it is announced on the #gateway channel of the Kliktopia Discord: https://discord.gg/25C98VQ
This thread is for people to discuss tips and tricks about the various hi-score games featured at at https://kliktopia.org/Vitalize.html
BONUS: Those giving a lot of tips and trips might be rewarded with a special tag on TDC .
Note: When giving tips for a game that has not already been mentioned on this thread then please be sure to say the name of the game, the author of the game, and provide a link to where the game can be played.

I'll start off with some general tips & tricks that apply to multiple games:
1) For games have a low screen size you might want to reduce your screen resolution or increase window scale % to make it easier to see
2) For mouse-based games you might want to try changing your mouse sensitivity to see if there's one that works better for the game.
3) Some games have an instructions or help screen that sometimes provide handy tips.
4) If you know you have not done well, you can restart (sometimes using F2) rather than playing through and submitting a score.
5) Just want to get on the hi-score table? Look at https://kliktopia.org/scores.html for the games with less than 10 scores or which have some low scores.

Well, this is all I've got:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Heart Attack! by Warpzone32 [ https://kliktopia.org/details/Heart%20Attack!%20(Warpzone32).html ]: The way to farm a lot of points is to just make a trail for the obstacles to follow, so that it's not just the tip they collide with, but the whole trail you leave behind instead. It all comes down to muscle memory. When you learn their patterns, it becomes easy to make trails. It's possible to farm a lot of points before reaching level 2, and even level 3. First level is pretty easy (excluding the bouncing projectiles), since they tend to rise from the bottom all the way to the top, which is a very trivial pattern. As for the bouncing projectiles, they always bounce the same, which means they never break consistency, or just get stuck in a loop. The mouse sensitivity can be entirely average, and it's only important how well you do with your run. Since I've already reached the level with the falling leaves, I could only figure out the sideways falling leaves that are brown. This is where my game stopped.
B-Lazer by Megagun [ https://kliktopia.org/details/B-Lazer%20(Megagun).html ]: This game's controls are very unusual and could be a little tricky for new players. You have horizontal and vertical lazers that get spawned at random, and when they turn red, they can create a barrier for the bouncing ball, which makes you safe from the ball depending if you're out of harm's way. The controls have a momentum which could work when you have to reach the pellets and grab a bunch of points. However, the score decreases on its own only when you don't collect any points. It makes you awake in a way.
Yummy Cube by Yair Charutz [ https://kliktopia.org/details/Yummy%20Cube%20-%20Vitalize!%20(Yair%20Charutz).html ]: For this game, it's important to have good reflexes when you match the same icons as fast as possible. Sure, you can get bonus points when you align the same five icons horizontally, but it's only a matter of time when you can do it again. A better way to make combos is to match five different icons really fast and then get a red blink that indicates you got a combo. When you're about to lose, just focus on clearing the top cubes so that you can still get some points before ending it all, because the falling cubes slightly become faster, which influences your reaction time.
Spike Ball by NPD89 [ https://kliktopia.org/details/Spikeball%20(NPD89).html ]: I haven't figured out any proper way to constantly bounce the spikeballs, but I did however figure out what the powerups do. The upwards arrow gives you more speed, the downwards arrow makes the present spikeballs float, and the blank powerup works like a magnet for farming points. The downwards arrow is basically when new spikeballs spawn on both sides, you can farm them because they won't go up until the invisible timer for the powerup runs out. There's also another timer that's VISIBLE and, instead of making you lose when it runs out, you advance to the next level. The next level just positions you higher, slightly above the spikeball spawners.
Joustice by Alien [ https://kliktopia.org/details/Joustice%20(Alien).html ]: It's possible to be above average at this game, once you get comfortable with the physics. It's the arcade game Joust from the early 80s (hence the name JOUSTice), only difference is the graphics are self made. Eggs that drop when you wreck someone down give you 150 points each, they're like points that help you reach a bigger score faster. You can also get rewarded with bonus points after your game is over, but I suppose it counts the number of lives you still have and the timer running out.
Block by Nettoon Interactive [ https://kliktopia.org/details/Block%20(Nettoon%20Interactive).html ]: A need for good dodging skills. The blocks don't go too fast, but they can also trap you when you position yourself badly. If that's the case, use the left click to blow out your surroundings, which you can only do ONCE. They can also give you points. Duo direction can get tricky when the red blocks always go over the bigger gray blocks, so make sure you don't move your mouse too much. Even when you're testing the boundaries, the game got that covered as well. It detects leaving the play area. This is a game where you NEED to be careful at all times.
Remote Thief by Bruce Lin [ https://kliktopia.org/details/Remote%20Thief%20(Bruce%20Lin).html ]: Another game that tells you to be careful. It's got amazing movement physics, which means even a slight touch of a laser is game over. Never not grab the small clock which gives you more time to move and to avoid the lasers. It gets even more difficult when you reach the flickering lasers. You have to be as close to them as possible so that when they disappear for a short period of time, it's your turn to reach the other side. For the diagonal lasers, you need to move like a snake, so your movement has to be down, left, down, left and such. Same thing for going upwards, it's up, left, up, left and such.
I Call Shotgun by Sam Gubernick [ https://kliktopia.org/details/I%20Call%20Shotgun%20(Sam%20Gubernick).html ]: Neat western FPS with a catch. It has a timer that can run out, it's got bottles at both sides which give you I believe 50 points each, you have bonus points such as the 10 points and 1 point. Make sure not to miss much when you shoot people, they can sometimes spawn and immediately use their shot, resulting you in having your time decreased after getting shot. Just gun them all down once you see them. Make sure to not miss the people on the balcony as well, just aim from below the balcony to get a good shot at them, otherwise it won't work.
Cave Worm by g93 [ https://kliktopia.org/details/Cave%20Worm%20(g93).html ]: You control a snake with your left click. It doesn't go up if you don't keep clicking or holding it, so it's important to keep the pace during the vertical obstacles you have to avoid, and to properly avoid those obstacles. The distance is measured depending on if you're still playing, in other words if you're going really far. A lot of concentration is needed for this game, otherwise it's all just trial and error.
Avoid by Unknown [ https://kliktopia.org/details/Avoid!.html ]: I'll be honest, I'm not really a fan of this one. The obstacles have a bounce movement that goes random and it's impossible to predict anything, because nothing has a pattern. There's so many of them once you reach about 100 points, and you can sometimes fail to grab the extra 10 points along with the bomb that CAN blow up the nearby obstacles. Your movement appears to be average, and other than just pure instincts, there's no way to properly enjoy this game. It plays you a demo when you're AFK, but it's not actual footage.
Crabby's Jelly Smash 2 by Shawn Seuferer [ https://kliktopia.org/details/Crabbys%20Jelly%20Smash%202%20(Shawn%20Seuferer).html ]: Unlike the previous one which in my opinion isn't all that fun, I find this one to be fun. You've got a crab that I believe shoots coconuts or so at the jellyfish, and it's very specific how you shoot them down. Basically, when you miss everybody on the screen, you have to wait for the projectile to leave the play area on the top so you can reload and shoot again. You can only shoot faster if your enemy is closer, which gives you faster reload time. You can achieve combos by being really efficient with your run, and those combos award you with crystals that fall from the top. Just be careful with the anchors, they fall depending on where you last stood. The pufferfish can't harm you, in fact it helps you a lot. You can use it to kill more jellyfish faster, but they have to be close to the pufferfish. If you get a faster wave, make sure the pufferfish comes down so you can use it as a "shield" by not letting go of it. In other words, try shooting the pufferfish while it's still close to you. The squid on top which goes to the right can also be eliminated, it's all about the timing. Everything in this game can give you bonus points, make sure to grab them wisely.
Astro Blast by Addictive 247 [ https://kliktopia.org/details/Astro%20Blast%20(Addictive%20247).html ]: A shoot-em-up that I can only describe as an Asteroid fangame. It's got the same gameplay down, only difference is the graphics are better. You have bigger asteroids that get split into smaller ones which give you 300 points each, and you have a brighter looking one that follows you around once it appears, which gives you 500 points when you blow it up. The way it gives you medkits to fill your health up is really cool, I find it to be really fair, especially when the physics are exactly like Asteroid's. Accelerating too fast in space can result in crashing onto basically a lot of things on your screen, and you can go slower by hitting the break, in other words holding down the down arrow, or risking it by letting a small asteroid collide with you and slow you down.
QuickShot by MindlessBeing [ https://kliktopia.org/details/Quick%20Shot%20(MindlessBeing).html ]: Another game like I Call Shotgun, except it's not western and it's just targets. Oh, and it plays really well. This one you can get good at, you only need to keep a good aim at all the REAL targets you get. Why am I saying 'real' targets? Well, it's because there exist decoys too, and they decrease the time you have left to beat each level. So please don't shoot them. Try practicing shooting patterns when you reach levels above 10. The more precise you are, the more points you'll get.
X-Fire by KJN [ https://kliktopia.org/details/X-Fire%20(KJN).html ]: Like the game says, control the two railbased cannons to blow up enemies. I personally think this is a really neat concept for a multitasking kind of game. You get a horizontal cannon which you use left and right key to move, and you have the vertical cannon which you use up and down key to move. The first and the second wave aren't so bad, but make sure you make a difference between the steel boxes. Sometimes you'll get the horizontally falling ones which you use the vertical cannon to blow up, and sometimes you'll get the vertical falling ones which you use the horizontal cannon to blow up. It's basically just what direction they're facing, because it won't work if you do the opposite. The regular enemies, if you ignore them entirely, can stick to your rail and keep coming towards you, regardless of whether it's the horizontal or vertical cannon. Don't leave any leftovers, just try to blow up everything you see on sight.
Blastazia: Special Edition by Alpha-Works [ https://kliktopia.org/details/Blastazia%20Special%20Edition%20(Alpha-Works).html ]: This one is pretty tedious, and I don't like to say that because I think the rest is well done. I only think the controls are slightly tedious, due to some enemies being really hard to keep track of. I also dislike the sideways moving enemies which you can only get lucky with blowing them up, I still haven't figured out the best way to get rid of them really fast. The most annoying ones are probably those and the ones that keep shooting ordinary looking projectiles. The bigger enemies with missiles aren't terrible, it's just one missile that sends off. Although the trail with three missiles in one I could never blow up due to a low upgrade at the time of playing. Basically, you HAVE to get all the powerups to handle every difficulty. The difficulties increase automatically, so don't slip up and miss a powerup.
Untitled by Dan B [ https://kliktopia.org/details/untitled%20(Dan%20B).html ]: I'm so confused by this one. First the MIDI sounds terrible, probably on purpose since it sounds like a lot of notes are mashed in randomly, then you got this really specific gameplay where you have a jetpack person that has a fuel bar and collects coins while at the same time avoiding spikes. Oh, did I mention you also hover if done properly? The green cube on the bottom can be turned into a spike if you hold onto it for long enough, so make sure to always be above it. When you collect coins, don't accelerate too much in mid-air. Instead, try to lightly tap the button. It will give the impression that you're still playing like you're holding it. I got to the point where there's balls thrown at you, and you have to avoid them because if you get hit enough times, you lose a life instead of losing immediately.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Like I said at the start, this is all I've got. These are all the games I have experience with and that I think need more explanation on why they're the way they are. So don't be afraid to tell me if I got stuff wrong, or if I could've explained myself better. I will be more than happy to listen to criticism.
