I wrote an article on creating maps from various cellular automata rules. There's also a trick to enlarge maps, to say twice the size, which will widen narrow passageways and smooth out the blocks. However, I wouldn't know how to convert them easily to Fusion 2.5 (even though they only use two or three different objects).
