ive fiddled with making my own platform engines many a time, but there always seems to be something wrong, i also find it hard understanding anyones opensourse engines. then an idea struck me, would it be possible to make custom engine plugins? i have no experience in making plugins, but if it was possible we could update all the old movements for tgf. just an idea. if im way off the mark about how pluggins work feel free to call me a dickhead

Anywayz, just keep practicing till you can do it,
all that experience will make ya a better for
your next custom movement.
I don't have much experience with plugins either,
it's darn difficult to find some info about it.
But it should be very easy to implement your own
custom engine in a plugin-form.
A movement engine plugin would be very possible. Not easy to make, though, and you'd have to be pretty lazy to want to use one

I think there is a custom movement extension. The Movement Object (by Oł Software) for MMF might be what your looking for, though you still have to code the movement with that.
I'm working on a platform racing movement. The neat thing about it is the directions aren't linked to controls.(For example, if you hold right you can go right, up a hill, around onto the ceiling, and be heading left while holding right...)
It's kinda funny to watch, but I'm aiming for the genneral "uni-racers" type of movement.
wow! i didnt think id get such a great response, altho it seems most ppl just wanna call me a dickhead, the novelty wears off after a while. yes i am lazy, but i will continue to work on my engine, but it would be a good experiment to make a engine plugin, but as i have no knowledge of how this would be possible i will say nothing more onthe topic, or be bombarded with more dick related payouts. cheers thanks for ur thoughts
