hehe i bet you haven't got the latest version 
alot of nice updates, bug fixes and minor improvements
and i also added support for the UDP protocol, just create a socket with the protocol parameter (also a new feature ) set to 1
(if you don't know what UDP is, just forget it and use TCP (protocol parameter = 0  ))

Why can't you use mooclick/moogame? Isn't a mud just a multi-user dungeon?

I would, but I'm getting the basic knowledge together, but the again I have huge hopes for making a MUD client. How about a "klik" mud? Should be fairly easy, not having to worry about compatability with other Muds...

wanting to have the program read incomeing text strings such as "Hp 135/250" and have the client turn it into a bar, also have it support a form of scripting, auto mappers, etc.

Yeah.... That's not really hard mooclick wise, it's the rest of it you need to code. But if you need help just ask  because i'd love to see more moo games.
