Have you wondered when your convention ticket's going to arrive? Are you scared that it'll be too late in the post? Well don't fear. This year, due to the huge number of people going to the convention, Clickteam have decided NOT to send them to everyone, as it's cost effective.

Instead what you need to do is print off a copy of the recipt, which you got when you bought the tickets at Clickteams webshop. The serial number, I believe is also required. Print both these off, and take them with you to the convention.

You may also wish to take with you a rucksack, as you'll probably be coming home with more than you arrived with. Eg, there'll be free Clickteam shirts there, as well as leaflets and all sorts of odds and ends. In addition, don't forget that Kisguri has supplied the convention with the latest edition of the Klikdisc, and Clickteam are giving away Install Maker, Patch Maker, 50% off MMF 1.5 (Standard), 50% off Jamagic (Standard) and Jamagic Pocket PC Runtime. However, you can only take one of these five offers.

Personally, I'll be taking my bag, possibly a camera, deodorant (for my impending dinner with Clickteam ), Mr Stumps Dentures on CD, my recipt and serial number, notebook, pen, and probably a lot of other things I haven't thought of. I'm also expecting a lot of autograph hunters* and I'm keeping an eye on a couple of you.

The convention should be fun, it was pretty cool last year (regardless of what some idiots might say "ooh people who go to the convention are losers" when they haven't been themselves, etc), and I look forward (with a sense of exhaustion and dread) to meeting some of you.

*this may be a lie

I think it'd be more useful for your to post the CTConv' tickets thingy on the frontpage, since people may well miss it here.

circy; upload your autograph so we can all print it off, hence saving you the bother of writing out 13000 copies.

btw, what's your bank account number and sort code? just curious.

I never wondered when it would arrive because I looked at the product description when I bought the tickets.

Make sure everyone brings their autograph books and gets them signed by Click...er, Circy. Bring a pen, too, in case his pen runs out of ink from all the signing he's going to do.*

Don't forget, if you're good at playing games you can also win a free copy of Jam and even some money if you're really good. Oh, and if you can, bring a can of paint. Me and GizmoStripe will be throwing the stuff over Erik on Sunday (so he doesn't have enough time to plot his revenge) and we could do with some reinforcements.** Don't tell him we're doing this, though.

* sarcasm is optional
** i'm not that mean, so bring washable paints please

I'll bring my own jam.

Does 60-odd characters count as a reciept?

I would go to the convention but it's about 400 miles away .

Next time I fully expect the convention somewhere nearer to where I live i.e Rochdale would do nicely.

Hmm for some bigdum reason I can't edit my post, so I'll post this.

Clickteam will NOT be giving away shirts this time, as they are accounting for the other freebies instead. Sorry

The clickteam convention was a hoot last year. I'd strongly recommend any who can should make the effort to go there! If you need to stay over, there are still rooms at the hotel for £39 a night...not to be sniffed at.

Anyway - see you there!

I would go but its in Europe isn't it. I live in the good ol USA. So the price of going there would greatly override the freebies that I would get.

I'll be the geeky looking weirdo pedophile wearing Spock ears...... Hmmm I better be more specific!

Poor Kris. Do you wanna borrow my Spock ears instead? It sure won't impress your friends like a Clickteam T-Shirt but, those ears sure do work well with the ladies.
