Are there any MIDI making programs out there with a similar operation to FrootyLoops or eJay?

I need something easier than a note-based program because I'm not really a musician and I can't identify notes, and I'm sick of using MIDIs from other games (at least I shun the library music).

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The one use which is AMAZING is Evolution Audio Lite, which resembles frooty loops interface/features is at least some ways.

I have an amazing bar-based midi programmer that uses different colours to represent pitch, etc. Just place a bar on a specific instrument line, change the colour, and drag it to the length you want the note to play. It's such a shame it only works on a Linux.

I don't know. It started being buggy a couple weeks ago, then stopped working about a week ago.
