I am in 2 communities on the internet. The Game making community(what your at know). And The Command and Conquer community(a gaming stratagy kinda community).

I have recently become an admin at what will be a top-notch community CNC site(cnc-frontline.com) and I have mentioned that I might be able to make a program of some sort to benafit the site. I basically suggested a community site program. Heres what I want to include:

The Poll
An Article Submitter
A file Submitter
possible chat
anything else cool.

Now I can handle the chat...and i can handle the poll(The poll will just be an IE window).

But the article submitter, and file submitter are a whole different story.

The Article Submitter:
I have tried to insert the email object into MMF...but I can't place it cause the dialogue only has the button cancel. I can't place the object. Strange...
Anyway I need to be able to submit articles either via email or to save somehow...somewhere.

File Submitter:
These are large files(usually). A few megs. I *think* I might be able to use the FTP object.

-Does anyone have any other cool ideas of things I could put in this program? I would be VERY thrilled to hear your idea.-

THX for your help.

sounds like you really want to be using a web-based language like ASP or PHP rather than a click product. but the FTP object should serve you well for file submitting.

btw; C&C rocks! good on you.

I prefer Starcraft...

Anyway, I think it would be a good idea to learn a web based language, but if you can't be bothered then using MMF is alright I guess.

Well we are using a web based language. We just want to make a program out of it as well.
