I'm not sure about TGF, but in MMF you select "Change resolution mode"

with TGF the 16bit version can make this full-screen thing without resize screen,
but if you use 16 bit levels bigger than like 2000x2000 it will be buggy when it comes to background collisions

tgf can do fullscreen with

320x200 16 bit and 256 colour mode
but it doenst work on some machines. Windows xp pcs i think.
the game will work but it will be windowed

you would be better of asking someone with mmf1.5 to save it as stand alone in fullscreen.

It's not a true full screen extension but it does change the resolution - it was used in LOF, and if it crashed you had to change your display settings back to normal
It's called Display Properties, download it here: http://extensions.cyber-gaming.co.uk/
