Would you rather have better graphics or better gameplay?
I've been jinxed! Again!

Gameplay is affected by gfx, when the animations are smooth, the gameplay feels smoother.

One-all.
Gameplay, of course - no point in having a game that looks a million dollars but plays about fifty pence. Both are nice, though.

it's a toughy, because if your game looks crap, but plays amazingly, then no one will download it to find out.
i guess, theoretically, gameplay triumphs over graphics, but in reality, without graphics a game is going nowhere.

I'm agreed with pete.
Therefore, a little advice:
If you've made a game with good gameplay and bad graphic, then don't upload a screenshot.
Then write in the positive things about the game, like the gameplay.

The old debate. The easy answer is "both" but thats just a cop-out. I think most people would agree that its gameplay, but good graphics CAN help make a game more fun, because the immersion is improved.
99 percent chance that the above post is 100 percent correct.

Gameplay is very important but you still need good graphics. As Frank Sinatra never sang, 'Gameplay and graphics, gameplay and graphics, go together like a horse and carriage'.

Better gameplay is more important, but good graphics are nice to have. Without gameplay there is no game.

Good graphics are like power windows. You don't need them, but they're nice.

The gamer's question. Even though saying 'both' is the easy way out, I have to say both. A game's not as attractive, immersive, or as cool without good graphics, but it's barely even a game without good gameplay.
