first of all this isn't a coding problem but a what should i do problem.
I am trying to think of a way to kill my enemies in my game instead of the usual die fall animations. I cant think of any other animations, could you think of a destroy animation idea for me which isn't
1. explosion
2. fade out
3. coloured fade out (ff7 monster kill)
4. fall die (like I said)
5. Catch fire (like Enternal daughter)
• vaporisation
• floataway spirit (like the huntresses in Diablo 2)
"Say you're hanging from a huge cliff at the top of mt. everest and a guy comes along and says he'll save you, and proceeds to throw religious pamphlets at you while simultaniously giving a sermon." - Dustin G
"If Darl McBride was in charge, he'd probably make marriage unconstitutional too, since clearly it de-emphasizes the commercial nature of normal human interaction, and probably is a major impediment to the commercial growth of prostitution."

(Darl McBride is CEO of The SCO Group)
this place sucks but don't tell anyone, it's our little secret, ok?
Their body morphs into a screaming ghost.
Its all animation, too.
-Above post is ancient and probably irrelevant-
An old account of mine, recently cleared out. It's a blast to the past, the age was marked as 14 when I found it. If you know where to look, you can track me. Au revoir.
Well, if you know me, you'll know I'm all about detail in death scenes, so I'd have a different animation depending on how the character dies. So if the guy gets killed by a blade, he'd be sliced in some way. If he got killed by fire, he'd be burned up. Etc.
The enemy begins to fall and
turns to smoke as hes falling.
Wait!
The person's body is incinerated
backwards, leaving a replica of
the enemy in smoke, which soon
fades.
OR, instead of fading afterwards,
you can talk to the ghost about
how much he wants to rip your guts
out!
