I'll be releasing the code for C-Base in the future. You should check it out when I do ^__^ I think it's easier to learn that way.

... and usability increases. i'm not an expert but i'd have that if you're going to bother learning a language, you might as well learn a more useful one that will benefit you later on, like C or C++.

I learned Jamagic in about a day, yes I did bother. I agree usability increases, but it's a lot easier teaching someone TGF or MMF than how to code.
BACK ON TEH TOPIC.
You should be excited because it's better than the tool you were using before ;P

Pete: Actually it's more of the opposite. Skills you learn in a language carry over. If you learn a high level language then you can get results quickly so you can learn better. If you learn a lower level language first then it takes a lot longer. Also, many projects will be faster if you simply work in a high level language then use dlls for more complex tasks.

higher level languages dont give as much insight into the workings of games\progs though.

Just what Tigerworks do. He has worked with Terminal Orbit long time coding more and more extensions to MMF using c++ to make Terminal Orbit better faster etc...
