This is the reason why I haven't done so much kliking. This is an MMORPG with great social elements, tons of stats to work on, about 20 quests to do, and it's free! (Well, you can become a member for $5 a month and get about 3x more game then the free version, but it's up to you. I prefer members.) I've been using it for two years, and I have very high stats, listed below. (Note that the maximum stat level is 99 and the maximum combat is 123)

Combat level: 39 (40-something by the end of today, though, doing a quet with huge payoff)

Defnse: 34
Strength: 32
HP: 35
Magic: 30
Archery: 2 (I hat archers, they mooch your xp)

Admantite (second-best type of metal) armor and two-handed sword)
So go there! There's a great variety of stuff you can do in it--who knows, you may make it onto the hall of fame!

NOOO! Avoid Runescape like the plague. I used to play that game far too much.
I have a very old character called Doric (same name as one of the NPCs, I signed up before that part of the world existed). Combat level 59. Fishing 63, mining 55, smithing 48. Full Runite armour with a Rune 2 hander. Do not play this game.

But it's good! Much better then most of the crap out there. However, if you don't wanna be addicted, go to jagex.com. They have some good games there, too.

oops, just checked it - some of the skills are better, some are worse, so it probably levels out. i managed to get level 48 cooking though x_x

I played RuneScape in the early days, when there was like only one server.
I managed to register the name "me" which has a quite funny story attached to it.
In the old versions of Runescape, there was no "buddy list" so you had to chat privately people by typing into the main chat, and starting with the word TELL.
If you wanted to tell Jacob your bored you type "tell jabob I am bored, u?" in the main chat window, and it gets sent to him.
Since I was "me", when someone went "tell me your name" it told *me* "your name" 
I have the file documentation for the old Runescape scripting engine, which was for quest-making and such - its changed a bit since then, and RuneScript is now being re-made for Runescape 2.0 (aka Runescape 3D).

Runescape is a horrible game. It has lag, a terrible spell system, mean players, and there would be little differencwe in the gameplay if it was a single player game (no social elements besides a couple of group quests). It's graphical representation is horrible (and RS2 isn't much better). I have an account on it called darmani64, and I keep forgetting to unsubscribe from members.
Try Wyvern instead (www.cabochon.com), it has a great spell system, far more spells, kinder players, a stronger discipline system (for scammers), it grows more rapidly, has better graphics for its dimension, more multiplayer meaning, kinder player base, better forums, better guilds, and just about everything that Runescape has only better. Best of all, it's completely free (and by that I mean that you don't have to pay for extra gameplay). Try Wyvern instead.

You're sating runescape's worse then that load of crap, Darmaini? And noone "forgets" to unsubscribe to members, if you're "forgetting" to do it while stating it here, why don't you unsubscribe right now? And just because you have no social life and prefer to hang out with those who have just as bad a taste in games as you do, you can't say rs has no social.
