My game is massive, due to an extensive amount of *.wav files. Now lately, I want to put in a new frame, which includes all these *.wav files again. How can I be certain that I'm not storing the same *.wav file twice?

Holy crap, this game is storing *.wav files under different names. I got this one file called "Scene1 line01.wav" It called it "Scene1 line1.wav" I know that's what I used to call it, but I deleted the old one, and uploaded the new one. Though it still has the old name.
What's going on? Oh well, if no one works it out, it doesn't matter, it's just a litlle annoying. Thanks for that Mr Coffee, problem solved.

You might wanna put lower quality sound files. Nobody really notices the lower quality unless they compare it but high-quality sound files really take up a lot more space.
I'm not really sure about dealing with them in MMF, though. Never done it before...

How do I lower the quality? That would really work for me. I have this one part, which needs to sound like it's lower quality, becuase it's via com-link. The other part can stay high quality.
Thanks for that. It had nothing to do with my enquiry, but it was very useful just the same.

One way to lower the quality, is to go into Sound Recorder, that comes with windows. Open the .wav and then push save as, at the bottem you will see your KHZ levels, push change and then change it to a preset, change it to Radio quality.
