How do you draw? Do you always add outlines, like Circy, or big eyes or whatever. My drawing style is Circy-Lite. I always use outlines, but they are 1 pixel, not 3.

I try to make mine look different depending on what game it is. I use 3D rendered graphics for 'Zombies Now', for 'Sod' I used 1 pixel oulined graphics with gradual shading and 'Samuryan' I used 1 pixel outlined with three colour shading (original color, shadow and highlight). I used no outlined gradual shaded graphics for another game I made, 'Tony Blair: Armed and Dangerous'.

I don't usually use a black outline; I just use a darker shade of a color. For shading, I usually only use 2 or 3 shades of color at the most. My backgrounds are either lighter or darker than the middleground depending on the environment.

As for drawing characters, I use a cartoonish style.

I used to draw sonic the hedgehog loads when it first came out
and since that was all i drew for 4 years or so 1991-1995 i cant get away from it

Tops the pig is probably based on that original sonic style too
as with buzz the squirrel.

nowadays i like drawing animeish
see my avatar? is a strange mix of anime and classic sonic the hedgehog

thats my style

I have different styles, people know me (and fools bash me) for my "gradient gfx"
like the fishhead gfx: http://www.newklear.com/fishhead/f4-6.gif
in this style, i begin with making shaped and then shade it and add detail...

I can also do other styles like here in a brand new game from my new team wich is still
a secret: http://www.newklear.com/fishhead/Bernard&Hank.gif

In this style I begin with single black outlines, then colour it and then shade it with one
dark colour.

I don't know, really, I just draw shapes in the Picture Editor and see what comes out. Then highlight them a bit.

Darker shades around the edges, to give a semi-outlined effect. (That's the intention, anyway.)

I haven't really done any spriting in recent history, but I do like to cartoon/sketch on paper and then colorize in Photoshop. Here's a few examples.

http://www.zyphon.com/rampantmjolnir/Click/street_punk.jpg -- Work in progress. Quick coloring job on what little I have done.

http://www.zyphon.com/rampantmjolnir/Click/concept_art.jpg -- Quick little 10 minute coloring job in Photoshop. It's a concept drawing for the main character in a game I'm working on.

http://www.zyphon.com/rampantmjolnir/Click/bill_gates.jpg -- A drawing I did of Bill Gates for some woman's local newsletter (she had some column on a speech he gave at a nearby highschool).

That's the scariest picture of Bill gates I've ever seen, and that's saying something.

My style revolves around Hayo's style with more simplicity, and less detail..

Its nice but far from amazing.
