If you still have them or can find them, post screenies or links to your first ever click games/apps to see how we started with click and to see how much we have (or have not) improved.
We were all n00bs once
To start it off heres the first ever iPublish () its amazing features:
* Save to INI!!!!111111
* Play MIDIS while you work!!!!11eleven
* Stupidly small edit object.
My first published game was Grim's Challenge, a platformer:
-4 worlds
-23 levels
-TGF platform movement
-enemies use path movements.
-Ini doesn't work if you change the game's directory.
-lots of edited library graphics
-midis from recognizable games
The first game I ever completed in KNP was called Pro-Spit-Balling(PSB). Ive never released it on the net before, but I plan on doing so soon, especially if people like what they see
Featuring:
-first person perspective
-all original dodgy GFX
-7 levels
-lame voice acting
-ripped midis
-immature plot
My first game ever was a hockey game (sort of). There were two colored smileys (TGF clipart) which could only move around their part of the field. It even had AI (pretty good AI for a newbie ) The opponent moved only towards the ball when it was in its part of the field(which kept on scoring own goals )
my first game was probably a game called "slinky wars" in TGF, which i just used these slinky GFX of the TGF lib and really bad gameplay, where you kept on getting stuck on walls and crap .
my first app, was probably a Notepad app, which if i remember also was really bad.
One of my first app (unfinished) was an attempt to create a website for I-Mode phones I found out that making sites for phones worked slightly different than normal HTML. It has a list object which stored different items:
Head - Information
Body - Colors
Text
Image
Text
Link - Webpage
Text - Colors
Text
Link - E-mail
You could edit all these items with a different image or text. I found out that it would be worse than a normal text editor
I made a platform game called "Escape from Castle Dracula" with the KNP library graphics, starring Skate Boy from the pseudo-Breakout game. It might even still exist on my old computer's hard drive, but I sincerely hope not.
My first game... Technically, it was about a Roman guy from the KNP library who shot arrows out of his shield and fought, in this order, a norseman who shot spears from his mouth and a tank controlled by another player. That was the FIRST-FIRST thing, though. The first game I ever got anywhere on was a little crapfest called Luigi's Quest. Someday, I'm gonna go find that pile of blood-speckled feces and upload it just to torture anybody stupid enough to play it. Hehehehe... such good memories...
won't you look up at the skyline
at the mortar, block, and glass
and check out the reflections in my eyes?
you see they always used to be there
even when this all was grass
and I sang and danced about a high-rise
joNickArt Entertainments first Game ever: A combination of different mini games. I remember you once played Santa in a level, and you could also choice to replay it the level after that.
When knp first came out, i ran outta there n bought it. My first game was about a guy with a gun, runnin down overccroded roads while shooting cops with the famous bumble bee midi in the background.
Sorry no screenies, i dont even have the game no more.....
Oh God, my first games would burn you eyes . My first ever COMPLETED game, had the most God-Awful graphics one could have: You play a little bald guy (don't ask me why!) who had to destroy some evil clown's factory chain (again, don't ask, I was only seven or eight)!
It had
-3 Worlds
-9 levels
-Origanal, God Awful Graphics
-Freakish enimies that used path movment
-Stolen Midis
-Some Klik and Play Graphics
It would be completely degrading to post my original screenshots, let alone the games themselves!
Mmmmyep...
Fine Garbage since 2003.
