I'm just trying to make something where you have an object and can move around in a 'room' with other people. I cant even connect to my own IP wtf? I tried the toutorial on TigerWorks but it doesnt work .
Ok, i put an event in which tells me if theres an error. And the error says "the attempt to connect was forcefully rejected" wtf does that mean? I turned off my fire wall completely...
Well the Tigerworks example connects to an Old server that is dead,
connect to: "mooapi.anjusevin.com" on Port 1203
this should fix your connecting problem.
How does moss work? Does it make the computer thats running it a server? Are you supposed to leave it open once its running? And whats a MOTD and MOO1, and what are you supposed to input for them?
I believe your problem may be caused by trying to sign on too much.
In theory, it takes a few seconds to sign onto a channel(due to latency) so you'd be sending hundreds of requests to your computer before any response gets there. I'm not sure, but if it logs you out of a channel every time you sign onto a new one, every time you sign in again it would send another sign-on request, due to being logged out.Purely speculation though.
Out of theory, try adding the condition "only one action when event loops" to your sign-on event.
