hey im making a pokemon type game or like a monster catching game but i have no idea how to make a catching system and the rpg system battle systems are easy well not pokemon battle systems and just transporting to the same spot after battle.

im using tgf and i done the battle thing to make it in the same spot now all i need is a pokemon game to learn of (the coding) or someone to make me a pokemon system

Undoubtfully, this would be a hard game to make. You'd have to include every pokemon(or whatever type of monster) object on every battle screen.
Then, you'd have to use a counter based searchbase ini to keep track of all your pokemon. It could kinda work like a login system. It should be easy enough here(at my level); all you have to do is take out the login part and make it register a new account(in this case the pokemon) whenever you catch one of the monsters.
Sorry if this response is too complex, but a monster catching RPG is a very complex thing.

This might be a hard one to tackle if its your first game. I think Circy made a Pokemon sort of engine, but I think he upgraded it to MMF 1.5. Well, good luck.
