It’s the first time I draw with gouache and I must say that this picture sucks donkey balls. I really hate it:

I like the whole messy style to it

Looks like me...althought he's got blondish hair and he's playing a left handed bass!
I like it actually. Pretty psychadelic.

Please post more pictures that you hate and we will all try to figure out why you bothered.

I don't hate it, but the guitar is a little messed up. It has six strings but only four of those little tuning doodads. Plus, the body (black part) shouldn't follow so closely to the form of the white part. The body extrends further out and is larger.

Aside from that, looks fine to me, although I'm wondering what gouache is.

detail of that picture-you are right.
It’s supposed to be Kurt Cobain-he was left handed just like Muggus said. Oh guys you really take your time when you look at my stuff. Thanks

Oh. I thought gouache was some kind of obscure graphics program. I think maybe the outlines made me think it was computer art for some reason.

Anyway, I can see why you might not be happy with certain aspects of it. The hands are somewhat deformed, and while the "messy" look works for something organic, it might make more sense for the guitar to be made in another medium, to make it look more rigid, if you know what I mean. If you don't, I mean, the guitar strings and the neck should probably be perfectly straight, and the strings should maybe be thinner, and maybe made with something metallic. Then again, applying the same look to both the guitar and the player suggests that they are both organic, that the music transcends the rigidity of the physic-

Wait a second. I think I'm getting in over my head here.

Just relax and don't be so hard on yourself. You have ability, just give yourself a chance to experiment with a new medium and don't expect everything you do to come out perfectly right off the bat. Enjoy it. Maybe put more of your stuff up in an online gallery or portfolio or something.

"andy his left hand is strumming and thats what it looks like"

I still think the hand looks unusual, but given that you are using gouache (whatever that is? paint or something?)which must be hard to use and that hands are hard to draw, its a good job.
