An admin talks to somebody, for example Clickteam's Jeff, and secures an interview.
This admin, Circy, then posts on the front page that the interview is going to happen, and states that those with high enough DC points can contribute questions for it.
When enough good questions are gathered, the interview happens, based on the good suggestions (from a variety of users, as the amount of suggestions you can give is determained by your DC points and if your an admin).
After the interview, when all the questions have been posed (a mix of what people have contributed and things from the interviewer based on those replies) and anwsers have been recieved, it can be listed on the "Current/previous interviews" page (similar to the poll) and people can read it.
TDC users could vote for who they want to see interviewed, and different people can be in charge of different ones - but hopefully it will bring the community together, as we can find out more about eachother and such.
This is a bit like (DT's?) "Member Spotlight" from a whileago, but, well, alive and more interactive. In fact, we could even try and get permission to post them on the site
It'd be good if we listed foreign interviews here with an asterix, and linked to them offsite. That way people would be able to see interviews they otherwise wouldn't have, and the sites which conduct the interviews are not annoyed that their cotent has been stolen.
Yep, top idea. I'd like to know a bit more about everyday members. Speaking of interviews I recently interviewed Stephen Moffat, writer of the smash BBC series 'Coupling.' Not much relevence to the topic, but I was pretty stoked. ANYWAY, great idea, I'd like to hear a response from one of the admins- I am aware Pete has replied, but he didnt really approve or disapprove of the idea.
'oh yeah? he's thrown a kettle over a pub, what have you done?'

yeah... well... even if i agreed or not it wouldn't have much bearing on it. it's a good idea but i just think a) it won't fit in on DC (it's not that sort of site) and b) other sites do it too, so it'd be a fruitless excercise. that's my opinion not the final word.
