I heard on the channel 4 teletext page (a feature on british tvs) about a new action replay for playstation 2 that comes with pc software to copy files to a cdr that will be playable on the ps2. it can play almost any avi,divx,mp3 file and comes with a megadrive/genesis emulator.
now it claimed to be out that day (this was two weeks ago) and i went out to buy it promply but no shop had heard of it in town, so i went to a different town with bigger shops (seriously i live in a small town) and found an Action replay max. surely this was it? i bought it and took it home only to find it had no additional pc software and didnt claim to play divx movies etc.
i visited the code junkies website (the maker) and searched for this product and there seems to be two with the same name
'action replay max'
i could order the new one from the website but i dont have a credit card and my parent dont want to give out that sort of info over the net.
does anyone know where to buy this new Action replay?

maybe you could try... other means of acquisition? btw are you sure it actually exists, and it wasn't just teletext/your mind playing tricks on you?  i can't stand teletext myself, it's too pixelated.

I'm sure that Action Replay exists, I heard about it on SOCOM 2. (Didn't see it on teletext, though.) Don't know which one it is though.
BTW. you get teletext elsewhere in Europe, I think it's just Americans that don't have it.

Wat do you think i should buy, xbox or ps2, im thinking xbox cause it is faster and there is a huge number of online games to choose from.Plus you can emulate stuff on it like windows or your own programs.

i say look at the games to decide.
it must exist because its for sale on their website, its just not for sale in any shop.
