Ok, I've split the game into two parts. EDF: First Age will have 4 ships, 6 or seven levels, and be out on or before 7/1/04. I did this because I'm making a new engine for the second part that will change the game quite a bit, which means that these levels made for you're everyday shooting game would not fit in. Here's a look at one of the bosses.
Yes. Good one Snerlin.
Also, the pillars look like they just dissapear. Have it
stick into the water or just have a bottom
-Above post is ancient and probably irrelevant-
An old account of mine, recently cleared out. It's a blast to the past, the age was marked as 14 when I found it. If you know where to look, you can track me. Au revoir.
Looks good. Your top pillars don't make sense though. Move the back layer slightly left, so that it appears to be following the same orientation as the hills.(or is that one great support structure...? At first glance it looks like two layers.)
1. Standard Counters = , try and make your own custom counters
2. Get rid of the Gradient, Gradients arent the prettiest things
3. where the water meets the Grass hills it doesnt have a smooth look, maybe add some sand there or something?
4. If those big red libes are the lasers id make them smaller, they look to big for something to come out of a ship that size.
Those are custom counters, I re-did all the counters to give then a kinda half gradient look to them. Thanks for the suggestions though, I'll be working on them today.
Looks very good, Shab! As Snerlin mentioned above, the colour mode MUST be changed (the gradients just aren't smooth enough). Everything else blends in well. Am I still a tester, or what?
Fine Garbage since 2003.
