Im trying to record in some voices to my game. But when I open my sound recording program and try to record - all I get is static. It is recording something, but it isnt my voice. I might have adjusted some of my sound properties when trying to use an mmf volume extension, but I dont know how to reset. Anyone know what the problem is?

Dunno, you could be just picking up space martian signels. A few coats of aluminium foil to the roof of your house should do the trick.

Hard to say, maybe the microphone is broken, but it's probably an incorrect setting. Do you have the microphone input volume turned up enough?

its very odd. I turned up my microphone sound thing and unchecked 'alternate micrpohone' and a started hearing my mic in my headphone. I could hear my computer summing in my headphones, but I could not record. It has to be some wrong inputs, but how are they supposed to be?

Maybe the mic is not plugged into the right place. The soundcard should have a small microphone symbol by the microphone input.
