For MMF users, you may notice that when creating a 256color icon 32x32 & a 16color icon 32x32, if the icon you want to copy in 16color is smaller then 32x32, it will stretch to the entire 32x32 in the 16color.

Well I've noticed an extremly simple way to avoid this from happening. Something most people might do is just stretch it back to normal size, but this would cause gulges at the bottom & left of the image. Not pretty. My simple way of fixing it is probley a way almost everyone who know's MMF uses, but this is basicly a tip for newbies.
Simply add black dots to each of the corners, this way when you copy it over, it will copy it was a 32x32 image, without stretching it out of place.

Then destroy the dots & there you go! Extremly easy & simple that does something oh so very useful.

A quicker way is also using the paintbucket to fill up the 32x32 grid and then changing the color back to transparent when you've pasted it you just use the paintbucket tool to make the background transparent.

You only need to put the dots in the topleft and bottomright corners (or topright/bottomleft)
