Hey, now I know because I posted this, I can tell right now, that I got the attention of people NOT using freewebs. Am & Right? Right, ok, now as I was saying, lately I've seen alot of downloads from people who use Freewebs. That host is so annoying & hardly anyone downloads from it unless they use dailup, because they are used to the extremly slow speed.

Tip for everyone using Freewebs. Move to either www.1asphost.com or www.sitesled.com (I like sitesled better imo). Both hosts give you 100MB of free webspace & are a shit load faster then Freewebs & Geocitys! Plus up to 20 uploads at a time & more then enough banthwidth. Basicly, these 2 hosts rock.

Now I relise what the first comment in this post is going to be. THIS IS SPAM! DONT POST THESE AGAIN! WE HAVE ENOUGH!

Well think about this, would u rather people be submitting files that are 1MB big & take an hour to download on cable!? Ahha, didnt think so. So its our job to basicly tell these people that FreeWebs sux & to move to something even better! Better as in, so far Sitesled is the best you can get for free.

Also, www.dot.tk is a nice way to get a short domain for those who dont have one. www.dot.tk is free & gives you a domain like www.cassatagames.tk, the only catch is, unless you pay, u have to have atleast 25 hits every 90 days, but I really dont think that its that hard.
Anyway, all users of Freewebs, move to www.sitesled.com , you wont regret it!!! I didnt!

Or - even better - use the free space that your ISP has given you.

Anyone can see Freewebs sux, I mean u download something here at DC from freewebs, number 1 it returns u back to the game without downloading, that already is cheap & when u do get it to download by saving as, it downloads extremly slow. At what, 5kb/sec, 1kb/sec?

So many people's sites existing in adverts, squalor and low transfer speeds. It's like a massacre or something. Seriously, I even went to the effort to do this: http://www.create-games.com/article.asp?id=651
Why do people still insist on using rubbish free hosts?

freewebs does suck, just host on your own computer, unlimited bandwidth, if you have a new hard drive (which are around 40 GB) you have more then enough space

Mr Icekirby says so!

Tiger, we arent all freakenm rich & we arent going to go out & buy something that people wont visit much unless we buy even more. So you see, you buy a host, then you have to buy a domain, then you have to buy advertising, all just to make your paid for host werth while! So if you want to do that, fine, but your loss. Sitesled provides what most paid hosts WISH they could provide.

When did I mention paying?
You (or someone) already pays an Internet Service Provider (ISP) for your internet access. Most ISPs, as one of their services, give you *FREE* (as in, at no additional cost to your regular internet bill) web space, usually accessible by FTP. That article lists some popular ISPs and the free web space they give you. So, if you just visit your ISP's web site, you can find out how to use the web space you are ALREADY PAYING FOR.
Let me reiterate: your ISP (probably) provides you web space where you can host your site, files and games at NO ADDITIONAL COST.
You do NOT need to pay extra.

Also on the sitesled site I couldn't find a full list of features. Is there a bandwidth limit? I can't tell. Also, I can assure you an ISP will consistently provide better and faster transfer speeds.
I'm puzzled as to how sitesled make money. If they use no advertising whatsoever, where does there income come from? Is it just run by a bunch of philanthropists?
Finally, take note of their policies page. "We have the right to cancel our service at any time, and we will not be liable for any files that are lost and/or corrupted which may occur from a system crash or hard disk failure." ... "SiteSled.com reserves the right to cancel any account for any reason or no reason at all." ISP hosting would do its best to keep your data backed up in case of system failure, plus they would never drop your web space for no reason.
