Check out Syphon 113
http://www.create-games.com/preview.asp?id=1968

i need as much help as i can get. Most preferably programmers, because its getting hard to program all the stuff thats goin on bymyself. Right now the AI needs a total revamp as can be seen from the beta version. Ontop the speech engine and game clock engine I placed in just doesnt work and im getting angry! In addition, i am making my own music, but more music would be helpful. Plus I screwed up the music on the game too. In addition, help with art, but not really needed, I love drawing pixelating so i dont really need help in that area. Thanx.

Its not enough,I need more
Not enough to satisify
I said I dont want it, I just need it.
To believe, to feel, to know I'm alive.

Knuckle deep beneath the borderlines.
This may hurt a little but its something you'll get used to.
Relax. Slip Away...

Just a tip...
Mentioning everything that goes wrong in your game doesn't help morale, which means that it's unlikely someone would join in. Nobody wants to spend time on more vaporware, dude. Especially not the good ones with experience.

AI is hard, it would probably be harder with a third dimension though

Mr Icekirby says so!

Nah, AI isnt that hard. Just use alot of values. What kind of AI do you need? I saw the game took place in a city... I have tried doing cars like from the GTA 1 and 2, but that is hard - if you like to do it proparly without the path-movement, that is.

The thing about AI is you need to plan it. Just write down everything you want the AI to do on a piece of paper, draw some diagrams and stuff, and it'll be much easier than you think. Coding AI just like that is unlikely to work.
