Is there a way to use MO3 files in a MMF 1.5 application. I've recently found out about the wonders of that file format and I was wondering if it was usable at all within a game due to the quality it acheives with the ridiculously small file size it carries along.
If anyone knows about this, please tell me about it. Thanks.

I haven't tried it yet, but try either the DMC2 object, or the ModFusion object..and yes, mo3 is a wonderful format

I don't know what MO3 is, but if you can play it in Windows Media Player, then you can play it in MMF 1.5 with the Directshow object.
However if you have to install some plugin or codec to get MO3 to work in Windows Media Player, then so will anyone who plays your game, in order to hear anything.

MO3 is MOD with MP3 compressed samples. DMC2 is the only extension that will play them.

I've tried DMC2, yet it won't work. I've tried playing a MO3 file under every possible sound branch: modules, streams, samples... yet it doesn't work. I have no problem running standard modules with it, but for some reason it won't handle MO3 files at all.
Anyone has an idea about what's going on?

Actually, I just tried getting an updated version of bass.dll.
It did the trick. Thanks for the help, everyone.
