New site layout/design as of May 12, 2005.

The purpose of the Freeware Top 40 is to connect people with freeware company and developer websites. It's also based on a voting system where the sites with the most votes are higher up on the list while the sites with very few votes will end up on the bottom. The top 40 is not only for clickteam software users but all kinds of freeware products. Anything goes as long as it's freeware. There is a cgi program that keeps everything up to date automatically without any wait. There is an anti-cheating system in place so no one can continue to vote from one IP address more than once an hour. I made this same type of a site in 1999 and it was fairly popular. The 2005 version has been fixed up and cleaned up so hopefully it will have a good reaction.

I remember a certain freeware top 40 back in the old, old days. My Freebor Games got quite high

Ya, this is the 2005 version... the old one you remember was made in 1999 and it was actually quite popular back then. Hopefully this version will be better.
