News Update
News posted 8th May, 2003 by Mitch M
New Mina shots:
A long time without an update on FAIND.com. Then the brilliant creator of the brilliant platformer: Mina the Pirate desided to put two brilliant pictures of there new brilliant swamp-level on the brilliant frontpage :P. Look at the quality! Now ZeroTau speaking:
Well, since there hasn't been much updating and stuff lately I figured I'd kick in with a news-item that doesn't have a spanish name this time, but still doesn't make much sense. So anyway, the last week has been pale on the Mina-front but I have now decided to reveal to you the Swamp-area called Waterweed along with one of it's two bosses.

Webhostings:
How wonderful! All your irritating hosting problems, blasted out of your head by the dudes with the fantastic minds,
Rikus & Co:
Myself and some other clickers are setting up a hosting server for clickers, because we are so sick and tired of all these so claimed companies that can't even let there servers stay online for more then a month without any problems. So we setup this amazing webhosting service for all the clickers out there that need it. As with everything in this world almost nothing is for free, as we wanted some quality and no [censored] downtime or other probs and after some searching we found a perfect server. We where thinking up a price but any suggestions would be more then welcome. At the moment we where thinking for about "5.99" us dollars a month. We could not offer asp as that would up the price and we wanted to keep the price as low as we could. (php is included;) But we did find a way to give you all a "free domain" when you sign up. (At other companies you pay up as much as 35 bucks a year for that, bastards.) This includes 5GB bandwidth, 400MB web space and much much more. Doesn't that just scream CHEAP!!! ;)

Also another hoster, Mark Hendriks:
New MOS servers. MOSNET previously known as iCLICKZONE brings you quality MOO hosting at no expense. We host the following MOO platforms: Moo1/2 and the newer ones MooClick/Game and Jama. Visit the servers section for information on how to use our service and contact us to let us know what you think of it. MOSNET service launched :: May 4th 2003 As promised the website and the service MOSNET has been released to the public. Servers have been upgraded and are now running on the stable WIN2K OS. We will make MOSNET a community service and will not start a new community website. We intend to bring you some power tools for hosting your own MOS servers and monitoring them. We are always open for new ideas and making this website a place where you can put your moo game in the spotlights. It's a free quality service, we hope to help the community to grow more in return for some appreciation. The website is still quite small and not all our services have been rolled out yet, this will happen in the near future.

If you want webhosting you should also read my recent 'Need Webhosting?' article. Basically in 90% of cases your ISP throws in some free webspace for you too.

he didnt write it all, if you look at the Mark Hendriks post it is from the wrong perspective ("We host") so it's obviously news collected from around the community, like that CT one is just from the post on the forum ;) :)
