Ghost from the Past

That's right, ShadowCaster is back after I dont know how long. I would like to apologise for my absence, this is my final semester for my current course at University so it's very full-on with assessments and other things I hardly have time to eat let alone work on DC.

One of the things we're working on is a ray tracer using only the C++ STL (i.e. no DirectX or OpenGL) which is, needless to say, extremely difficult. But hey, anything less would be boring :)

I also attended Supanova two weekends ago and managed to meet a girl called Leanne who was actually volunteering for me. All my spare time (well, I dont have spare time, it's actually time I should be working) I spend with her now ;D

But this university crazyness should hopefully end in about 6 weeks.

However in my time of absence I would like to thank the DC admins for keeping up with the news and other duties.

I would also like to mention that I have 150 new DC mails so it's going to take me forever to get through and reply to everyone. If there is any urgent business you can, as always, send me an email. If not, please be patient, I'll get to your message sooner or later.

Thanks everyone, I'll try and be on every now and then to check up what's going on and reply to a few posts in the forum :)

I was waiting for your active thing to reach '1337 hours ago'. I don't think it made it, but it was close, so that's about seven-and-a-bit weeks.

Hahaha nice too see you back Mike. In your absense I dropped out of uni and became a fruit and veg guy. XD I guess I spent way too much time at this place, unlike yourself. Good to here there's a woman in your life, I kinda got one now too. ;)

I so ain't making this up. :P Her name's Eliza, I've known her for like a year now but I recently got with her at a mates party and since then we've been close. Believe it or not, all I know is I got some action last night. ;)
