Do you have what it takes to work at DC? We're looking for someone to become an administrator, with a focus on news posting.

If you think you have what it takes, send an email to shadowcaster at netspace dot net dot au containing a link to something you've written. It can be anything from a post on the forums, to something you wrote for school. I wont be looking at what you say, but how well it has been written, so be sure to send me something you feel showcases your ability. That means you need to spell check, grammar check, use paragraphs, and so on.

Applications close as soon as I find a few people that sound good, at which point I'll ask the other admins for their opinions as to who, from the select few, should make it. So be sure to get in quick before someone else takes the position.

Administrators at The Daily Click have power and respect over the entire community. OK, so that was a lie, but you do get special admin privileges and a custom rating ;)

Also and i think that's the number 1 thing, if you don't think you can hang in there for more then a month then do not apply. Being an admin must sound good but we expect that you keep updating the site and while this might work the first couple of weeks, we are searching for folks who can keep this up for months and months to come:)

I think so too, we need smart people who can attend to problems immediatly, I had to email Shadowcaster today because this week's flamewars were out of control and now is leading to this.

I come here pretty often, and I am already an admin at clickisland. The reason I haven't done much there is because there is nothing to do. I don't have big fat admin powers there, and the forums are relatively tame.

I believe you don't really need good english for tdc since all the news are like 1 or 2 sentences long with little content.

Note to all applicants: You, and shadowcaster, have a lot of cleaning up to do :P An admin position has a lot of responsibility... I wonder who will get it...

I seem to head on this site ALMOST ever day. :) apart from when Hols, computer crashes and Illness strike (hopefully not all at the same time).

I've been here for quite a bit of time now, and do run a seemingly successful click community myself. (Alongside Capnzippy) I've sent you an email SC regarding the open position.
