New Game: Splinter Source
News posted 17th January, 2005 by David Newton (DavidN)
Here's a novelty, a Splinter Cell "fangame" in 2D. Don't let that put you off, though, it's far too original to be called that. Created by Jerry, it's a side scrolling stealth shooter set in the Splinter Cell style. What an awful lot of S sounds.

Comments from the Author: Splinter Source, as you may have guessed it, is a Splinter Cell fan game. Not a fan game like your typical sonic or mario platformer, but more like a 2D Half-life; in other words, its not simply a remake its an entire dimension shift - switching from a 3D to 2D interface. You don't play as Sam Fisher, but instead some nameless agent out to retrieve the OBJECTIVE thats stolen by a group of 'terrorists' who are now holding cargo bay as their base.

Sibilants! That's the word. It must have escaped me the moment I left Higher English.
