GOTW #141 - A game with kitty

Bernie from Faind grabbed this weeks GOTW and just didn't let go, easily outpacing the other entries for the week. And why not, the game is extremely well made and the graphics are very nice as well. Do yourself a favor and... Click here to download the GOTW. In this week's GOTW we have Ork Attack, Planet of Cartmans 2, Neonair Racing, and Tanooji Dash. Ok, we've tried to be nice about it, we've tried to tell you step by step what needs to be done to get your download accepted, but no more. We've had several downloads sitting in the "in" box for days/weeks lacking proper descriptions/screenshots. So it's my personal solution to delete the downloads from the pending list that don't meet requirements. Now, if you have no screenshots (which you really should have), then you better have a DAMNED good description if you expect it to get accepted. If not, it will be deleted and you'll have to try again. Tweet

lol, all i have to say is ... GOOD! either that, or make a form for games, and a form for apps, where you have to fill out every single field so that you can submit it, like a small description of the gameplay, storyline, etc that way people don't have to think of all the things required for a description, because sometimes, people just have no idea where to start their description

When one stares at FULL descriptions like "Just like Army one but better!" "A DEMO of THE GIANT GAME" You tend to get a little frustrated.

I think its about time to just stop complaining to the noobs and actually do something about it, like reviews, the description of a game should have a minimum of 1500 words, and a minimum of 2 screen shots...if you guys did this, it would be alot more effective than just complaining. I highly doubt the noobs come here to read news posts about crappy downloads, they just wanna release there junk and have people see it, they don't wanna take the time to take screenshots or write a long description.

Which won't happen cause it will be deleted. I AM doing something about it. If it doesn't meet the standards, it's gone, plain and simple. We don't have the access to change anything, only Clubby/Rikus can do that.

Well then perhaps they should come back from fairy land and change somethings, atleast it would make it easier for admins, like you Shab, then you won't get so disappointed and stressed out, and won't need to yell at the little noobs who come to d/c.

Yay, only game I've voted for in a while won GOTW! I think you guys are being a bit too strict with the screenshot & description stuff. Oh well. Personally, I've put at least one game without a screenshot on the front page, but it was a really good one. Hmm.. I should prod Gafy into finishing Flatworld XD
