New Demo: Captain of the Guard 2
News posted 31st May, 2006 by David Newton (DavidN)
Del Duio needs some inspiration for his latest RPG-platformer, so he's submitted a small demonstration version to test it on the community. It has the fairly gigantic title Captain of the Guard 2: Exile in Scumenborough.

Comments from the Author: Basically, I want a lot of people to test what I have so far for this game. It's nowhere near complete, but since I've never done a platformer before I want some serious input on what's in here so far. I'm finding it very hard to do this game, as it's taking a far greater effort than I had expected. I've been at it for about 4 months or so.

I would also like to take the opportunity to mention that I was looking through the comments for Treasure Tower again and found that UF Comtec had said "If this game doesn't win GOTW next week I'll eat Evil Kitty's toenails". Want any tomato sauce with those?

I hope he won't only eat toenails. Go ahead, UFC, help yourself to the whole dish...

Don't talk with your mouth full!

maybe that's not as horrorish as you think.
I think toenails taste good

And remember, there's Blast radius 2 this week.

"If Blast Radius 2 wins the GOTW, i'll eat jonnys pen"?
Sounds good

Oh, one more thing- in about 1 week or so I'm going to update the demo big-time with all the fixes inspired by you guys and the 3rd level "Creepy-ass caves".

Hopefully that'll make it easier to play, especially with the most annoying thing being the long death song and player's left screens neutralized
