The Weekly Click #16
News posted 20th May, 2007 by Flava
Hey again - well there have been some more site updates, as well as bits of news from around the community. So, let's get started..

Firstly, some site updates..
  • The general poll has arrived - I can't remember the last time it was up, but I'm fairly sure it was a very long time ago. Vote now on whether you think shareware games should be allowed to take part in the game of the week.
  • Some more of SilverNova's skins have been added to the skins system - they're all pretty good and worth a look, so check them out on the skins page (which you can find on your user admin page).

  • And in other news..

  • SilverNova have posted some news on their latest games and activities. A new screenshot for Vault has been released, and it actually looks pretty good. Also, a demo should be available soon, according to the news post. There is more news on some of their other games, including SilverNova: The Game, Jatzey RPG, Meebles and Tales of Larynda. Click here for more information.

  • James has posted yet more news regarding Tormishire. This isn't the 'juicy news' which he will be releasing in a few days, but some information about skills, the map and a few updates to the version for testers. Click here for more information.

  • Retro 247 are running a competition - but you don't have to create a game or anything. In fact, all you have to do is look at a bunch of screenshots, and state which games they are from. There are 25 screenshots, and the winner will win a copy of MMF2 Developer. Click here for more information.

Oh, and those platforms in the picture aren't finished yet - obviously lol

Yep they are finished now though lol. Demo should be ready either late Sunday(CA time) at the earliest, or late Monday or Tuesday. I want to make sure there is enough fun to be had

Flava, suggestion for the next general poll: Would you pay for a klik game?

Posted by Tim 20th May, 2007

@Jimbob: I respectively responded to the post and simply said "too kind "#

It's things like that that give that community a bad name really...

Umm, in Tim's blue skin links on blue bars ain't very clear. Might be a good idea to change the colour of the link to a bit darker. Having difficulties reading...

I voted yes for shareware games. It's just too bad that the two I've submitted here didn't get the chance to participate in the GOTW

Equin Village and Necropolis Rising, BTW

    Viva la Poll!

Posted by Phredreeke 22nd May, 2007

I voted no because Klik games are like Sex. It's better when it's free!
