zomg phone games! This will be sweet.

Posted by JustinC 14th July, 2008

That'd be awesome but something tells me someone just took a screenshot of a game and loaded it on their phone as wallpaper. . . time will tell though and I hope I'm wrong! Being able to sell Click games to load on the iphone would be great!

Might be fake JustinC... you never know.. (so i dont want to get too excited yet). but on the one photo (the sony) you can see motion blur of something at the top

Clickteam said the Java Runtime update will have Phone Game support.

Posted by Marko 14th July, 2008

Somebody please write an article on how to do this!

Posted by Dr. James MD 14th July, 2008

Is impossible for the iPhone at the mo, since you're not able to release apps that run external apps. Like emulators, Java and junk you'll need the iPhone SDK for that. Which is surprisingly easy but not MMF2 easy

I was thinking the same thing about iPhones. Just buy smartphones dammit! Nokia N series or anything with a Symbian operating system - even my 6120 can play 3rd party java games and apps.

epic post! we have been saveth! now let's have that donation page so we can help out.

Posted by Disthron 14th July, 2008

Hmmm... could be fake, but we do have the virtualiz thing for web games. Maybe the Click team is working on something like that for phones and such. But I have a niggling suspicion that it's a fake.

nice to see everything working now cant wait to try the phone java thingy

Posted by LIJI 14th July, 2008

Clickteam announced in the Click Convention (2007) that their Java Runtime feature will have Mobile Phone support in the final release, as well as Blue Ray support. Not fake!

I'm happy

You all seem to be overlooking the most important feature of these pics. A sequel to Romeo is coming out!

Posted by Ski 14th July, 2008

Is it? Why would that be important? Couldn't stand that game >_<

Posted by jared jupiter 14th July, 2008

Nah that looks like the normal Romeo to me.

Posted by viva/volt 14th July, 2008

It's named Romeo 2... So I figured that since it didn't look the same and was named with a 2 after the main title that it was in fact not the original and in fact a sequel.

Oh and awesome news about the hosting being sorted out .

After they release Java support, Clickteam will start working on mobile Java. That's what I heard.

Posted by OMC 14th July, 2008

Hey, I think I've seen that Romeo 2 somewhere... Anyway, this is cool. It finally means MMF games on cell phones! YIPDEEHARDLEHOO!

Posted by Codemonkey 14th July, 2008

3 Cheers for the admins!

Cheers!

It's like a dream come true! (Hosting not phone-thingie)
User's ought to decide a percentage of their income to donate on a monthly basis, that would be a generous idea. Say 0,5%-1,5%. If a few people did that every month there would be no problem. I'm gonna try that at least.

One for all, and all for TDC!

Posted by AndyUK 14th July, 2008

I think a large percentage of Clickers don't get an income, they're either kids or students.

Posted by Codemonkey 14th July, 2008

Like me.

Posted by jared jupiter 14th July, 2008

Now what we really want click games to run on is. . .

THE N-GAGE.

Posted by Velovix 15th July, 2008

This is awsome! (That Romeo game sucked by the way) This means some easy money for clickers! Next step is 360! I take that back, that's never going to happen, is it... That's ok though, we can't expect too much of Clickteam!

Romeo 2 is on the second disk of MMF2 (within the demo folder or something) - that's where you saw it before mate. And i want 360 support a million times more than phone support!
