Bring ‘em Back
News posted 23rd September, 2008 by Simon Colmer
Hey all, new idea that has been brought forward by Peblo and Borgi – “Bring ‘em Back”.
The idea is to show off old games which were good but maybe didn’t get enough showing off in its time (or maybe they did but deserve to be shown off again).

It’s always a good idea to remember the past, and with the huge collection of games in the archives it would be awesome to bring back those games which we all love.

So if you have any old favourites which you would like to be relived then send me a mail or attach a comment and we shall see what we can do.

Si

Oh! Oh! Cerberus! An amazing scifi game made in Klik'n'Play!

And BTW Mr. New Admin, neither Text Based FPS, Nemegraph, Sleepwalker nor Rabbit Stew has got a GOTW symbol next to their download! Fix it!

Maybe someone would add a Chaos Gate demo

Posted by -Dark Martin- 23rd September, 2008

Chaos Gate never got released unfortunatly, the creator had to declare it Abandonware because he didn't have the resources to finish it.

was it going to be nice if it would get released?

Seriously, i am in awe of the 3D displayed by both Pixelthief and this guy - fantastico!!

Posted by Simon Colmer 23rd September, 2008

There are demo's floating around, but we would have to get the permission of the author to release it which is next to impossible from what i have heard!
Shame

hrmm I am planning to refurbish gridquest with some extra polish, and create a strategy guide to it, which might make a good complement for this some time, especially considering how few downloads it got

Posted by Marko 23rd September, 2008

The lack of downloads you got was a travesty mate

Posted by Codemonkey 23rd September, 2008

I agree, that was great work!

Also News needs a little more text imo, no offense.

That's very kind from you! Nice idea!

Posted by JustinC 23rd September, 2008

Good idea but I think we should have a limit like say, the games have to be released in 2007 or earlier. No games from the past year maybe?

There was a game in the making years ago which was called something like Ray of Light or similar. Anyone know what happened to it as i seem to remember a very short demo of it being available.

It still works

I think that TDC should brick back old GOTWs like Shining Armour - http://www.create-games.com/download.asp?id=4582 which sometimes couldn't be downloaded (now it's available on http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=29872024461
