New Preview: Block game
News posted 20th October, 2008 by -Liam-
Here is a new platformer, still in development, by Surreily. You play as a cute, block-like character making your way through 24 levels running, jumping, collecting items and hitting switches for some nice, varied gameplay.

Comments from the Author: The full name is: Block Game - The Evil Life Crystal. This is my new game (made with Multimedia Fusion 2). It will have 24 levels (all of them are done), original graphics (also done), original music (not finished yet), and a story to go with it all. This game will be released soon, but I am not sure exactly when. The music may take some time.

It looks like a really nice game so far, you can check out the YouTube video here: Block Game

I like to see the more simple platformers, they're pretty relaxing to play. I get tired of people demanding more than the "average" platformer nowadays.

Plenty of great features to that "basic" platformer.

Looking forward to its release.

To be honest, I had almost passed this off as a newbie platformer, but after seeing the game in motion it looks like you've put some good gameplay ideas in it. Looking forward to this.

Looks pretty good, to be honest. I'll be sure to give this a go.
