More Click Convention Information
News posted 12th June, 2009 by OMC
Good news! Fanotherpg, who is organizing the 7th Annual Click Convention taking place in Poland, has passed along some information for those of us who sadly cannot join the fun in person.

Here's what Fanotherpg says:

"Anyone who can't come to the convention can present their materials in digital form. To do so, please make a video of your material (and you if you want) which will last for about 10-15 minutes.

During the episode you should say something about you and your project, and present it in the form that you would like. It would also be nice if you could release a demo version of the project so users could test it by themselves. What's more, you should try to make an FAQ for an additional couple of minutes and try to answer people's questions!

Deadline for presentations is the 20th of July so you've got over a month to show something! Videos and demos should be placed on servers and links to them sent to my email, (below) or if they are very small attach them to the emails."

There you have it! If you have any questions, just send an email to the above address.

I just want to mention that one person can have several digital presentations. So each game can be presented separately or in one video.

It's an idea for everyone who wants to show something, but I hope that some more people will sing up for convention.

We can present extensions, right?
What are the preferred languages? English/Polish?
Can we place them on Youtube/Vimeo? Or do you need a file for offline viewing? What is the preferred video format and file size?

Yes you can present extensions and we prefer English, because it's international convention and not Polish one. About films, the best option would be a file to download so I could burn it on CD and take to the convention. So you can place it at Vimeo and I'll download it.
