Aquadasoft's networking library OINC 1.0 was released today for both Multimedia Fusion 2 and The Games Factory 2 (the latter using a cut down version of the extension). Intended as the replacement to the MooGame/Mooclick extensions, OINC boasts greater power and allows communication between MMF2, C++ and Python, with work on both Visual Basic and Flash compatability currently underway. There's never been a better time for klikers to give their games online functionality!
From OINC's info page:
OINC is a networking library- that is, an interface available to programmers to let applications communicate with each other, across a network or over the internet. It is currently in alpha stage. It supports raw TCP and UDP sockets, as well as its own protocol built over TCP and UDP. This allows you to create networked applications quickly and simply, without dabbling in Winsock or complicated socket libraries.
