Osmos Gets a New Demo - and is available for presale!
News posted 15th August, 2009 by Rob Rule
The IGF/Direct2Drive award winning Osmos, from Hemisphere Games, is finally available for presale for a mere $9, with a release date of August 18th. Hemisphere have also released a new demo to mark the occasion, so if this undoubtedly different little game has somehow evaded you until now, you too can see what all the fuss is about.

Osmos in Hemisphere's words: Enter the ambient world of Osmos: elegant, physics-based gameplay, dreamlike visuals, and a minimalist, electronic soundtrack. Your objective is to grow by absorbing other motes. Propel yourself by ejecting matter behind you. But be wise: ejecting matter also shrinks you. Relax… good things come to those who wait. Progress from serenely ambient levels into varied and more challenging worlds. Confront attractors, repulsors and intelligent motes with similar abilities and goals as you.

This game looks like a real nice version of Robotron.

They are Hayo, if the game is good and author thinks when it should be promoted it get attention.

Don't these games get enough promotion from simply being out there though? I thought it worked the other way around. That we're the ones who should get off site promotions if our game is good. This seems like more of a forum post than a home page post on TDC.
