There are a lot of games which get submitted here that are really good, but there are those that really stand out to me. The games that are fun to play and make me want more, are the games that stand out - and I think GunGirl 2, created by Blue66, is one of those.
Admittedly, I've only played the first 30 minutes so far, - mainly because I wanted to get my news post in before the other administrators did - but from those first few minutes you're thrown right into the action. The game combines plat-forming and action together, having you shoot and dodge your way through various zombie enemies. There are creepy zombies who eat away at you, there are chainsaw-wielding zombies and there are even zombies with shotguns who won't hesitate to shoot you on sight.
This game is hard - even on the lowest difficulty setting. But it's still a hell of a lot of fun. Killing off zombies with your pistol and shotgun is extremely satisfying, and the platform elements of the game have been implemented well. One place that this game shines is certainly the upgrade system. You can upgrade your weapons by collecting little "G" items, which are dropped by enemies once they're downed. You can also upgrade your statistics and abilities by collecting orbs - it's a very detailed system which you'll need to use if you're to fight the zombie horde.
From the presentation to the sound and music, this game is top quality. Best of all, it's a hell of a lot of fun. I've just reached the first boss battle, which is also awesome, and I can't wait to start playing again.

Still it was hell of work to test it!
The stat screen and the orb-sistem is perfect -a good balance with the usual carnage
