Adam, we are catching up with all the previous GOTW's, right now we are around June I believe. GOTW will actually turn into a GOTWeek once we reach October.
Well in this case 1 game got 98% of the votes within 1 day so that's good enough reason to move on to the next one. Normally I give people 2 days to vote.
If the games don't get a week to be voted on, I dont see the point in doing that to "catch up".
The results are hardly fair considering only a small handful of users visit the place daily, with others visiting every other day or once a week even...
A very valid point and I appreciate you telling us your concerns. However we will continue to have a new GOTW every other day until we are caught up. Unless more people would like us to extend the voting window to 3-4 days. Also having a quick and dirty GOTW is better then having no GOTW at all.
I dont get it. The only reason I can think you'd want to catch up on GOTW is to make it fair to those who missed out due to Administrators being lazy, so now to be "fair" you're rushing the entire process to catch up.
You may aswell just skip to the current games and apologise to those who's games missed GOTW. Having a 1-2 day voting window is tight.
I don't see how it's unfair since the amount of people voting during these 2 day windows are more or less the same amount of people voting during a week, so it's just a sped up process and works dandy.
There is no reason to bicker on it just cause you like to bicker on the admins, since it works fine.
The way I see it, past games getting a rushed chance to win GOTW is better than never giving them a chance at all simply because the DC was so inactive during the time of their release. In other words, it's better than nothing.

Well big surprise on the voting, but still super congrats to Blue66 for winning GOTW with GunGirl 2!!! 
It's still GOTW since the games in each poll were released in the same week.
