ClickConverse Beta Launched
News posted 22nd March, 2012 by The Chris Street
Simon Pittock has been busy behind the scenes during his time as a Clickteam employee developing a new chat client. Currently in beta (but still worth a mention) the new ClickConverse is fully-featured and will eventually replace the popular Gwerdy chat program. Simon also states this will eventually be released on other platforms such as Flash. There are of course a few little bugs here and there, but right now ClickConverse is a very worthy replacement to Gwerdy. Give it a go, see what you think.

I think it's a lot better Gwerdy will be replaced by ClickConverse anyway

It's not better than Gwerdy but perhaps someday it'll get there.

Why can't they just make it Flash based? And why do we have to login? It's just inconvenient and uptight.

You logged in here to post a comment, I don't see what's so different ClickConverse remembers your username and password... I'm sure you can manage a click on a log-in button - lol.

Go and check out the thread... as I said there: "In due course this will be released for other platforms, including SWF/Flash." (Reading helps you learn! ) Flash will be next, there are a few more issues to iron out first in the EXE beta.

I should re-emphasise... beta! This is still in development and testing, however plenty stable enough for public consumption

I like that avatar rikus!

I'm glad there's a login, otherwise there would be alot of impersonators, "hey look I'm jeff!"

It's nice! It's more professional looking for sure.

And as was said on the Clickteam forums there going to add a iOS and droid version possibly.
