Well, The TDC Archive pilot has seemingly gotten off to a good start, so I'm going to try and keep it going :D If you're unsure of what the project is about, basically a klik game from "the good old days" will be showcased for around five minutes (although sometimes less) to remind us of the times when we made games for the fun of showing them off to others, and to hopefully rekindle those fond memories of some occasionally unknown classics.
For Episode 2 we look back approximately ten or eleven years ago, at a TGF created game by Duncan Fenn, called Death City. Has time been kind to it? Watch and find out :)
If you have any games you'd like me to consider for this, let me know! If you have copies of said games, let me know where I can get them from too ;)
This is lovely, thank you! IIRC I made Death City in early '01, aged 14. I'm amazed that a few people still remember this one in particular. It was one in a long, long line of vaguely FPS-inspired top-down shooters I made.
I let my web hosting expire earlier this year but I might see if I can upload a fresh copy
I'm a fan of Duncan Fenn's... I've always put Gravitorb 2 near the top of my most polished old-school Klik titles list. I'm surprised I'd never heard of this title before!
