Well, we all know by now that the Click Convention was cancelled this year due to the Olympics. However, there's a little bit of good news on the horizon if you're hoping to attend a convention of some sort this year.
While not a Clickteam or TDC endorsed event, in the UK, to be held at the University of East Anglia is a convention mainly dedicated to indie developers who enjoy, or are who working on, adventure games.
Called Adventure-X 2012, it's a free-to-attend event thanks largely to a successful Indiegogo campaign (not dissimilar to Kickstarter). The crucial dates for this event are 15th/16th December 2012 and it's still possible to display a project or run a talkthrough presentation.
