I think... hm... I think, maybe, I can see the finish line from where I am now.
I'm currently working on the final phases of the final boss, and after that I'll be animating and scripting out the minor story related sequences (keyword: minor) that will occur in the game, as well as the introduction level. Besides that, there are 5 bonus levels to be completed and some other bonus related things to be programmed, and then believe it or not all the content will be finished!
I'm also converting the whole game to use Onu to play the music, so as long as that comes out with no hitches everything will be doing fine. I still cant say when I'll get everything done and out the door, but the coming weeks are looking really good.
There are some small bumps with Onu involving some crashing bugs that need to be worked out, and since an original soundtrack is being developed for the game I'll also have to wait for that to be done before everything is released.
After the game is released, I also want to look into getting a HWA version out afterwards to resolve some of the slow down areas that will occur in the game for most of you guys. I know that most klikers dont have the best computers... but that didn't stop me from overloading frames with a lot of freakin' objects.
Work continues! I really wanted to get it done and out the door by 2007, but once again real life gets in the way of such things... but stay tuned, January has to be the final month of development!
