Alpha Zero is making a comeback! After hard drive failures, being neglected, several scrappings, this project is back on track. To celebrate? Screenshots!
The engine is mostly complete, with a few additions needed to make the bulk of gameplay available. After that, it's all just level design and artwork. The player sprite clearly needs animation, as it's keeping the same standing frame in all three screenshots.
Now, I'm not going to get my hopes up, but I'm aiming to have a February/March release, be it a beta, demo, or the full game. Maybe just a gameplay video or something.
